Welcome To LSAT Tips

LSAT Study BooksThe path to law school is a long and arduous journey. After careful deliberation or maybe even as a lifelong dream, pursuing a degree in law begins with finding and gaining admission to the law school. In addition to earning a top undergraduate GPA, obtaining letters of recommendations, and choosing what law school to attend, the law school admissions test (LSAT) is perhaps one of the most important as well as heavy factors that will ultimately decide the range of schools you will get in to.

LSAT Tips is a website dedicated to providing law school hopefuls all the necessary resources and information to do well on the LSAT. Most of the information you will find on LSAT Tips have been gathered from law school websites, articles by admission committee members, and other valuable resources books and around the internet.

General LSAT Information

While many law schools will take an applicant’s highest LSAT score if the applicant has taken the test more than once, an applicant ideally should take the LSAT once.

Why? Because the risk of performing poorly on a second or third re-take of the exam outweighs the benefit of the realistic 4-5 point increase one can hope for on a re-take. Often times, LSAT re-takers score lower the second time or third time around. In these cases, a lower second or third LSAT score will actually hurt your chances during the admissions process.

In addition to other general LSAT questions, here are some LSAT Tips articles addressing popular LSAT questions.
